Center for Advanced Materials & Biotechnology was established in September 2003. As an important part of RITS support system, CAMB regards the realization of industrialization and commercialization in the near future as the main selection criteria of research projects. CAMB consists of two Shenzhen Key Laboratories-"Key Laboratory of Innovation in Traditional Chinese Medicine & Natural Medicine" and "Key Laboratory of Biomedical Engineering & Advanced Materials". R&D Center of Electrochemistry Sponsored by Man Yue Electrical Co., Ltd. was established by CAMB in 2004. CAMB undertakes a few projects that are sponsored by national "863", "973" and provincial research funding. Among the R&D team of professional researchers, 20 obtained the doctor degrees and over 10 are senior researchers. CAMB is also responsible for training master candidates and guiding the research work of post-doctors. The principle of culture construction of CAMB is to create the thriving under pressure and comfortable working environment. CAMB is providing the space for development and creating a warm and inclusive work environment where the staff care about each other, transfer the working pressure to motive force, involve actively in the team and willingly pay back to the team.
