R&D Center of Shenzhen Tsinghua Sensor Engineering Technology was jointly established by Key Laboratory of Optomechatronics Integration of RITS and Shenzhen Tsinghua Sensing Equipment Co., Ltd. (present name: Shenzhen Leaguer High-tech Co., Ltd.) in 2002. The researchers employed in the R & D Center are all from the Key Laboratory of Optomechatronics Integration of RITS and Shenzhen Tsinghua Sensor Equipment Co., Ltd. The R&D Center undertakes technical development and original R&D of mid-long term products for companies. Mature technologies are then transferred to R&D Department of the company for further product R&D. The research areas include sensor technology, detection technology of human component analysis, infrared detection technology and medical device technology. The management team maintaining daily operations of the center is jointly recommended by the company and the key Laboratory.
