The Enterprise Post-doctoral Workingstation of RITS was inaugurated on March 28, 2002 (governed by Science & Education Committee). Until 2005, the post-doctoral workstation of RITS has become the largest enterprise post-doctoral workstation in Shenzhen, and was awarded "Outstanding Post-doctoral Workstation in Shenzhen" in November 2005. The post-doctoral workstation of RITS was also the unique workstation in Shenzhen among twelve post-doctoral workstations praised for their performances by Guangdong Province Human Resources Department in December 2005. The number of post-doctors has added up to 50 so far. After fulfilling their post-doctoral research, eighty percent of post-doctors choose to stay in Shenzhen, working for universities and companies, among which 8 are  employed by RITS.
